Castro Street Fair
You'll enjoy the excitement of the Castro Street Fair,
one of the many neighborhood fairs of San Francisco. On this festive
Sunday at the beginning of October, the streets are blocked off and a
hundred-thousand or more individuals party, dance, eat, and visit the
scores of booths that have been set up representing various gay and
lesbian organizations that serve our community. Also present are
artisans and crafts-people displaying their wares. You'll have a chance
to meet locals as well as many visitors from outside the Bay Area at
this colorful event.
